ANTR are so excited to present our first mixer event - A Night To Remember
(see what we did there...?)
If you have an interest in musical theatre - whether that be as a creative, performer or audience member - this is the place for you! Starting at 6pm, expect an evening of fun, no pressure mingling with fellow MT lovers.
There will be plenty of time throughout to chat and meet new faces, as well as quiet breakout spaces and structed networking activities to make sure everyone makes some new connections!
Included in the event:
"Speed-meeting" -
Think speed-dating, but we're looking for creative sparks here. With prompts provided, you'll get short sessions meeting and chatting with a range of musical theatre appreciators
A musicals themed quiz -
What better way to bond than trying to remember what musical that song came from? Or who played the original Elle Woods? And if you don't know much about musicals, don't worry - you'll soon make friends who can help you out!
Musical theatre karaoke -
Enough said (except to mention that participation is entirely optional, and there may be some games sprinkled in there as well...).
And a free themed cocktail (or mocktail) on arrival to set the vibe!
At ANTR our motto is 'start now and learn by doing' and we are committed to making musical theatre in Scotland as accessible as possible. We want anyone who has that curiosity for or love of musicals to get involved - whether you're a long-term pro or this is your first time dipping your toe into the MT pond!
